GD Energy Products wins on the institution of trial in Post Grant Review PGR2025-00031

ESF congratulates GD Energy Products on the institution of trial in Post Grant Review PGR2025-00031 of U.S. Patent No. 12,152,582. Trial was instituted after the Director found discretionary denial to be inappropriate, which has been relatively rare in the early days of discretionary denial proceedings. GDEP’s competitor monitoring and early challenge of U.S. Patent No. 12,152,582 appears to have been key to prevailing in the discretionarily denial proceeding. Congratulations also go to ESF partners Andrew Haberman, Mark DeBoy, and Larry Shatzer for their hard work in this case.
