Peggy Su joined Edell, Shapiro & Finnan in 2024 and has been in the intellectual property field since 1995. Peggy has an advanced degree in mechanical engineering, with a specialization in controls design and analysis, and focuses her practice on patent preparation and prosecution, patent portfolio management, and client counseling.
Peggy specializes in a wide variety of technologies, including:

Prior to joining Edell, Shapiro & Finnan, Peggy was the head of intellectual property at Nuro, Inc., and was responsible for building and managing an IP portfolio including patents, trademarks, and trade secrets. At Nuro, Peggy was also responsible for educating stakeholders on all areas relating to intellectual property. Peggy was also a patent portfolio manager at Cisco Systems, Inc., and was responsible for managing strategic patent portfolios. Prior to becoming a patent attorney. Peggy was a patent agent at several boutique patent law firms in California where she focused primarily on patent preparation and prosecution.
In her spare time, Peggy enjoys cooking and running.
