Mohammad H. Tahersima joined Edell, Shapiro & Finnan in 2026 and has been practicing intellectual property law since 2019. Mohammad holds a PhD degree in electrical engineering and specializes in a wide variety of technologies, including:

  • Semiconductor Physics
  • Optics and Integrated Photonics
  • Image Processing

Prior to joining Edell, Shapiro & Finnan, Mohammad practiced for over three years at a big law firm in where he was involved in patent prosecution, invalidity analysis, and reexamination proceedings. Mohammad was also previously worked as scientist for the government and as a researcher for the private sector.

In his free time, Mohammad enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, video gaming, and reading
