Connor Charney joined Edell, Shapiro & Finnan in 2025. Connor received a Bachelor of Science degree in energy engineering from Penn State University, with a minor in environmental engineering and energy business finance. Connor focuses his practice on patent preparation and prosecution and specializes in a wide variety of technologies including:

  • Electrical Systems
  • Energy Systems
  • Medical devices
  • Consumer products

Prior to joining Edell, Shapiro & Finnan, Connor worked at Schneider Electric as a Project Manager for five years working on medium to low voltage electrical distribution construction projects.

Connor graduated from American University Washington College of Law in 2025. While in law school, Connor interned in-house at a software company working on privacy and intellectual property topics. He also was a Legal Rhetoric Dean’s Fellow and a member of the Business Law Review.

In his free time, Connor enjoys skiing, playing dungeons and dragons, reading, and playing pool.
