Colin Feng joined Edell, Shapiro & Finnan in 2023 as a patent agent and has been practicing intellectual property law since 2017. Colin has a degree in mechanical engineering and focuses on patent preparation, prosecution, and searching. Colin also has experience with performing freedom-to-operate studies.

Prior to joining Edell, Shapiro & Finnan, Colin prepared and prosecuted patents at a boutique law firm in Texas. Colin has primarily worked with mid-sized and large companies and has experience prosecuting patent applications in different countries. Colin has also previously worked at a manufacturing company and a rehabilitation hospital.
In his free time, Colin enjoys working out, watching movies, playing video games, rooting for Chicago sports teams, and trying different restaurants.
